Butterflies and Bees of the Indian Himalayas

I took an amazing flight high above the clouds and could see the peaks of the Himalayas jutting up into the sky.

Art was my favorite subject in school, and I feel very blessed to have my own classroom where students can explore materials and let their imaginations run wild. I have been lucky to have time in my life to work as a professional artist. Butterflies have been a frequent theme in my art work, which was one of the reasons I chose this expedition to the Himalayas. I am so excited to see the butterflies that are indigenous to the area and bring back photos to inspire my students. I am looking forward to an amazing adventure!
